Borrowing my friends Peactree right now . I noticed what u described when plugging in. Not gonna make a difference if u send it back .
Peachtree Audio Nova.Pre USB port
I recently purchased the Nova.Pre and paired it with my Quad 909 amp. I have my Mac Mini connected using a Kimber USB cable to the USB port on the back of the Nova.Pre.
However, the USB plug does not go all the way in the port. It sticks out about a 1/4 inch and fits loosely in the port. I've called Peachtree and they want me to ship it back for them to check. I'm willing to do this, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem? Or are there other Nova.Pre owners who have units where the USB goes in completely and fits snuggly? If so what kind of cable are you using?
I would like to get your feed back before I contact Peachtree again. I would like to know if this is a design flaw on all units or only on a few.
