PC Sound Help Omnis/Receiver

Thinking about Mirage Omnisats with an inexpensive amp/receiver of some kind for my computer sound.Is this viable-or do you recommend something else? The speakers and receiver can be had for probably $300,and the Omnis produce a spacious sound,with little effort.That's how I see it happening,hopefully.
