Pathos Classic One MK3 versus McIntosh MA 252?

Which one would you choose?

I have not heard the Mac, so I can't comment on the sound quality, however I have owned the MKIII for 3 years now and really like it. The Mac has more power and a mm phono stage, they both have a balanced input (which I recommend). Tough call, but you can find an excellent used MKIII for about half the price of the new MAC, just saying ....
Thanks dill.

I have heard both of them before but it was months apart and with different speakers. From my recollection the Pathos might be a little warmer sounding, a little more tube like. The power figures aren't too far about apart. 130 vs. 150 watts into 4 ohms. I want to buy new. I think both are $3500.
Have had the Pathi  monoblocked for several years now used with various speakers from sonus faber to magnepans.  Very musical  integrateds.  And a good buy generally.  I still recommend them.  Good luck.

Consider that the McIntosh will most likely hold a better resale value over the long haul.  I heard the Mac amp and it is very nice indeed.
