If you have not already, read TAS Issue 160 (2006 Editor's Choice Award Issue 165), Stereophile December '06 Sam's Space...power supply reconfiguration...improvements (on this already fine amp) are incremental, not dramatic. YMMV

Has anyone heard the new MK III upgrade to the Classic One?
I wonder whether sonic improvements are worth the CHF 600 (appx. USD 450) to upgrade my MK II to MK III status. I have been told that with the MK III, the list price will go up from CHF 2'900 (USD 2230) to 3'500 (USD 2700).
