Path Audio Resistors - Capacitance ?

Hi Everyone,

I've been reading up on the Path Audio resistors. It seems they are not pure resistors, but deliberately designed as resistors with capacitance. That 3rd lead will bleed off high frequencies.

If anyone has a pair and can measure the capacitance I'd be curious to know.

Best,

Erik

Erik is correct they have an outer copper shell and the drain wire is optional  in my system I did not find a noticable difference and just cut it and sealed .it has absolutely -0 effect on the high frequencies. Parts connecxion  always fails to buy ample stock
so I just ordered 10 from Hifi collective in the uk, int fedex priority
under $30 and arrives in two to 3 days max.every one of these measured under .75 of 1% in variances in 10 samples that is incredibly good. I am treating my Xover and using the excellent
milflex Copper foil .022 Bypass caps on my Xover with Duelund Silver foil with this the best resistor out there that I have heard
in North America. $25 a piece is a bit pricy but they tie in the
musical performance with great musicality and accuracy they for sure have a slightly warmer balance then the caddock or      Ohmite Gold.

I just recently upgraded by whole Loudspeaker Xover with the Path Audio But had to order from Hifi collective in the UK for parts connecxion never has good stock on the Oath Audio resistors
I bought 10 8 for my speakers and a pair for the Premium Loudspeaker Clarifiers I sell . These transform every part in the musical chain you put them in ,these resistors are just very clear and detailed with excellent depth of field and sounstaging , the only thing is that burnin time is minimum 100 hours, and 200 to full refinement , I just play them for a solid week , ,
your system justsounds more natural and live , well worth the monies. Spent.
