Pass X250:does it hum thru RCA's like Krell KSA?

Hi
I am planning to get one of those but decided to research if it hums thru rca inputs like some Krell KSA amps do.
All my equipment is rca only and i do not plan on getting balanced any time soon.Is it worth paying for Pass amp in this case and how big is the difference between running Pass balanced and rca. Thanks in advance for your input.

The Ksa should not hum, mine does not. Do you have the shorting pins installed in the balanced inputs when using single-ended inputs? If not...get some from Krell or it will hum.

On the other hand, maybe some Ksa models do hum? Mine is KSA-250.

I used RCA ICs on my old Krell amp and never had any hum, so it's hard to know what to advise. Why is your amp humming?
No hum with mine using the RCAs. The balanced way the sound was slightly (slightly) more defined IMO.

Happy Listening.
