Parasound C/BD Belt Drive CD Transport

Good evening all,

For those fortunate individuals who own this fabulous CD player I've found a source for the laser and belts. My player was playing music in an excellent fashion and then "Wham". One day it would not play disks. It would start up as if it was ready to boogie and then slow down and stop all together.

I am ordering a laser and 2 belts just to have extras down the road. Who knows how long these parts will be available, especially the laser and belts.

Good evening all,

Thank you for your comments. Actually, Parasound still has lasers and belts for my transport and that's great. The laser ought to last a long while. I figured I had better order an extra belt. When I get the repair done, I will get the laser replaces as well as the belt. That way I should not have to worry for a while, I hope.
