Parasound AVC2500 shuts down

Hi, I have a parasound AVC2500 proccessor that shuts itself down. It doesn't seem it have a patttern but first the volumne goes down to zero then it shuts itself off.I can turn it on immediatly and it may last through a movie or it may happen a few more times,anyone else experiance this? or know what's happening? or a cure? thanks Mike
