i have the same question as russ

why won't the maker repair their own product?
I also do not understand why Outlaw Audio refuses to repair your unit. Are we missing something? Is your M-200 from the gray market? is your M-200 fully registered with Outlaw Audio? Did they give you an explanation why they refused to do the repair? Are you the original owner or did you purchase it preowned? Please provide more information. How old is your M-200?
It makes no sense that Outlaw would refuse to repair your unit.

AND, I also just emailed Outlaw Audio and requested they review your Audiogon post. Now we wait.

please keep us posted.  Thanks.
@kgveteran,  PLEASE see the response below the === from Outlaw Audio.   As was suggested, please fill out the support form and they should be able to service your M-200.  Thanks.

Please keep us posted.

"We appreciate you reaching out to us. I wish I could speak more to this but unfortunately, I do not know who this customer is and they provided very little information. I cannot think of a reason we couldn't service the Model 200 at this time. The customer simply needs to open a support ticket at support.outlawaudio.com with his serial number and a description of his issue so that we may be of further assistance.

Best Regards,

There you go. Open a ticket.
call the company, talk to someone, explain and tell them your story.
Even if not registered, they will fix.
get in touch with them.

Always heard good things about Outlaw.
Good luck.
BTW, Outlaw Customer support is outstanding.  I sent them my email and they responded within 2 hours.  Truly excellent.
As they suggested, please open a support ticket ASAP.
Yeah, that doesn't sound right.  Outlaw should work on their equipment.  However, if it is grey market, most manufacturers won't.  I don't really understand this because grey market or not, they did make the equipment.  But, I guess their logic is that it wasn't purchased via an authorized rep. or via authorized sales path.

So it is penalizing the buyer that bought it through the grey market.

So, contact Outlaw, open a ticket and send it in.

enjoy

@minorl, i believe it does not matter if it is coming from grey market or through the distribution path. It is not a warranty issue but a fix issue. OP has skipped some information.
@kgveteran, Have you completed the Outlaw Audio support request to get your M-200 amplifier scheduled for repair? Please keep us posted. Thanks.

As posted above, “So, contact Outlaw, open a ticket and send it in”. The ball is in your court.

As per Outlaws email “The customer (OP) simply needs to open a support ticket at support.outlawaudio.com with his serial number and a description of his issue so that we may be of further assistance”.

Typical Audiogon post. Person complains, solution found and the OP ghosts us. Rinse and repeat.
I agree with @stereo5‘s post above.   I wish @kgveteran would respond. Thanks

Gentleman, im deeply sorry for ignoring your posts :0/ i got busy and actually forgot i posted this thread.
I contacted them when i needed a relay replaced and they hadn’t any, and i quickly thought that meant they couldn’t do the repair, but it only meant they had to aquire one and could do the repair.......
my stinkin thinkin :0/
@kgveteran, Thank you for the update.  It is much appreciated.   Cheers.
With great shame, i blamed Outlaw, and rushed to conclusions.....

i replaced all (7) relays about 3 years ago. It seems that one had failed, and wasnt holding the contact. I took the unit apart to discover this issue.
i clean the contacts once a year because the relays i purchased didnt last as long as the originals. So, wts it was me !!! They are all up and running and sounding good as ever.
With the nominal load of my speakers being 4ohms i can squeeze alot of power out of these (7) mono’s , i have been a fan of Outlaw since owning a 990 some years ago. With those amps powering my theaters seven surround channels and my Denon powering the (4) SVS Atmos channels this rig sound fantastic. The bottom end or the “point .1 ch” are Quad Adire Tumults powered by Quad QSC 1450’s with a little EQ from a MiniDSP 4x4HD......the opening scene in OverLord is incredible.
