I was equally amazed when I sent in my BD83 for repair. I sent it on a Tuesday and had it back on a Thursday. I had to pay a flat fee that seemed reasonable. The quickness of their service was amazing. Unfortunately for me all 3 Oppo players I've bought have had problems, not sure I'd buy another one
I have had an 83LE repaired way out of warranty as well as my 95 in warranty. Both repairs were made very quickly and had both back within a week. These guy do not know what out of warranty means as they only have you pay to get the item to them. NUMBER ONE in customer satisfaction IMHO. They also have no problem answering questions and will help indenifying a problem even if the problem is not with their equipment. They are very knowledgable.
Same for me. I sent my Oppo 83 in for a small fee, and when they received it a couple of days later, they literally
emailed me the same day stating they replaced the entire
laser assembly & updated it, and it was on it's way back to me with a tracking # the VERY same day they received it.
I shipped it on a Monday and had it back that Friday. My next player will be an Oppo. But I will run the tires off this one first as it is still a amazing player.
