I am no help but I had to tell you that Berning is awsome. I was tempted to tell you to get a used 2100 amp and that way you would have a smooth amp that did rock. LOL If you have not had a mod done on yours, try teflon caps. Makes a world of difference.

I have a pair of Berning EA-230's driving some Quad ESL-63's..and I have a pair of Tannoy Gold Monitor 12's coming...
Now, these are 2 pairs of finesse speakers....I am thinking of selling one of the Berning's and trade in the Quads for a Sota Sapphire TT and a Pair of Platinum Audio Duos to be pushed by a McIntosh MC7200...(payed by the Berning (at least partially),,,Now i can have one finesse system, and one for rocking and louder listening...
