Opinions on differing power cable for amp and preamp

@twoleftears Thank you. And yes I know this is extremely subjective and there is no definitive answer. But this is a place where I respect the opinions/experience/advice of all of you and always appreciate anyone just taking the time to respond. I feel like it's always good to get the opinions and advice of those you respect and then mix/match all of those to better help with any decision. The great thing about Transparent is they do have a great upgrade policy and although I know there are those that have differing opinions of Transparent (like everything of course), I have always found them to be a great match with Dynaudio and Rotel in the past for me...

Thank you @mwh777 ! Appreciate you following up and clarifying, and for the added detail. And I so know the market has been dry lately for Transparent cords, I've been hunting religiously, LOL! But I've only been hunting here and Ebay. I'll expand my search...Another great insight on overshooting on the preamp. I know Rotel isn't exactly high end, but back in the day I had the RMB1095 driving my Dynaudio Audience and even though I love my current setup (Evoke/Simaudio) there was just something truly magical about that system that I still miss :(. But I'm not sure this particular preamp would justify that kind of $ upgrade for the power cable.

Great call on trying out the Transparent before parting with the Shunyata and looking at upgrading the High Performance for Premium with the network box. At almost triple the price that's pretty steep but I'll heed your advice:)

@noromance yes, I just had a dedicated 20 amp circuit installed recently. Figured the Simaudio Titan would appreciate that:)

But a used Super would certainly be nice if I could find one :)

@rushfan71 (I am also a true Rush worshipper) my intent on this post was more to hear others' opinions and experiences as to whether it makes more sense for synergy purposes to stick with the same manufacturer throughout your system as far as cabling...Again I know this is all so highly subjective on everything and there are too many variables for there to be a true definitive answer to @twoleftears point, but like I said I value the input of others' here and appreciate anyone sharing their experiences and opinions. 

I completely agree with your statement that cables don't make the gear sound better however I also agree they can "get in the way"...
