Yah I did a Thorens Td160 without any issues..Was having connectivity issues ( losing one channel ) and flippid the table over ,drilled to small 3/8" and Attatched ( backside of chassiss )on some nice Cardas Female RCA fittings and snipped off the old cables and Soldered the stub to the new RCAs and now I can use any Interconnects I want..Very easy and works very well and very cheap.......
Old project/1 turntable; new rca cables
I recently purchased an OLD project/1 turntable with hardwired RCA cables and would like to solder new high end cables in their place. Has anyone been successful modifying an old turntable in this way?
