Old Paradigm studios against new monitors?

Hey everyone-

I was just wondering how older Paradigm Studio speakers,say V1 or V2, sound in comparison to new Paradigm Monitor speakers. Hopefully someone here has had experience with both and would be able to compare.

As an example, what would new (V5 or V6) Paradigm Titan monitors sounds against old Paradigm Studio 20s (V1 or V2)?

astorey -- so odd that you'd bump such an old thread. And worse, make a statement that makes no sense. There are no Titans any more. Have you heard any of the new Paradigms? Premier? Monitor SE? If not, best not spread misinformation that could cause someone who's shopping for new speakers to dismiss some great products.

 Have the Studio 20s still and they sound much better than newer  titans or monitors. Try to get Studio 40s if you can.

Having sold Paradigm for many years, I feel that the Studio 20s are a much better speaker than the current Monitor series. The Studio series used better drivers and crossovers and boxes. The Monitor series is an excellent value priced product, but not in the same league as the Studio series...IMHO, of course.
