Ohm Model I - Substitute Low Tweeters

New member. I have a pair of Ohm Model Is here in France which need replacement of what Ohm call the low tweeter (midrange?)units. Shipping costs from Ohm's factory in NYC to France make their replacements on the expensive side for me. Any suggestions as to what I could use as substitutes? Existing units are 3". Speakers are nominally 4 ohm impedance but this can be modified by the controls on the top panel of the speakers

Aura PA 100s in bridged mode
Nikko Beta II pre-amp
Arcam Alpha 9 CD player
Ohm Model I floorstanders

Listen to all sorts of music save house, garage and that sort of stuff.

Thanks

Are you saying shipping the entire speaker is too expensive, or even the shipping for just the driver needed? If you are referring to the entire speaker, have you asked John Strohbeen at Ohm if he will sell you just the drivers you need? I doubt just the drivers would be too expensive to ship. I could be wrong, of course.
