I'm not familiar with your gear, however, you can't damage a signal by adj. the gain. Go ahead & experiment w/gain settings on amp for best clock position of pre & sonic match.
No Volume Swing -- help
On the back of my Parasound Amp, are adjustable gain controls for each channel. Parasound recommends them to be set to max, however when I keep it this way, I have little control over my pre-amp volume. No sound and zero to ear bleeding at 1 hour!
Will I be harming the signal if I turn this down, if only to have more flexible volume swing on my Audio Refinement PRE-5?
