New Peter Gabriel Tour in USA.................


Peter Gabriel is planning a new Tour of the States in June-apparently a scaled down version of last years tour.
No tickets are on sale yet but here is an early warning to Audiogoners interested.......

Sorry, man - it looks like either I killed this thing, or no one's into Pete...
I'm a serious PG fan who has seen most of his tours, including two of his famous Roxy shows in LA. I really like UP a lot but felt this tour left a lot to be desired. The staging was monumental and obviously very expensive to build and to schlep around from town-to-town, but it did nothing to support the very intimate music he was playing. Better to have a much smaller production that wouldn't require such large venues to support it.
So this upcoming tour is a positive move, since it's at small non-in-the-round venues.
