Last time I used Plex the software downgraded CD quality audio to low rez mp3 type sound quality.

New audio playback features in new Plex app
Latest Plex app for ios has several new audio playback option features missing prior:
1) Sweet Fades - nice transitions between tracks
2) Volume leveling - tracks play at a more uniform volume level
3) the bar that shows track playback progress now displays the track waveform which provides a more informative widget than the typical straight line.
It all works well and sounds very good.
