Need help please can anyone help i am so angry lol

I am trying to run ONE microphone to play in to TWO headphones. This is without a mixer or  any latency i bought a y splitter on the advice given to me on another forum but that just splits the signal from a microphone/headphone...

Sorry for caps but i am at my wits end as i keep getting people saying yes do such and such but turns out its for two microphones to run into one headphone which is NOT what i am asking.

Please can anyone help i am so angry lol

You are going to need an interface between the mic and head phones of some sort. this is to amplify the mic signal for head phone playback. so Microphone to preamp-amp out to two head phones, could use a y splitter here from the output of the amp to the 2 head phones. so yes you do need a mixer or preamp-amp to drive the mic and the out put.

no way around it.

If you tell us what your actually trying to do with details on what equipment you have then we could give a more detailed reply. right now all I think you have is a mic, y-spliter and two head phones.

Hmmm, I posed a possible solution earlier but it may have been rejected for some reason...

Use a Y connector but make sure the phones are the same make and model so that they will respond identically to volume.
Microphones can't drive headphones.

You need a preamp for them. Preamps usually can't drive headphones either, unless equipped with a headphone power amp.
Microphone mixers usually have headphone power amps built-in. Your Y adapter will work there. So the easiest solution is a mic mixer of some sort.
