Need advice regarding B&W center channel to match B&W802D's

If you guys were me, (and I hope you’re not for your sakes), which one of these B&W center channel speakers would you choose to go with B&W 802D’s.

1. B&W HTM4D or 2. B&W HTM4D2 (I decided on having a compact size center...)

My gut tells me the HTM4D is the correct choice for especially the tweeters to match in timbre.
Does anybody know if there is a noticeable difference in timbre between D & D2 tweeters?

HTM4D for 802D

HTM4D2 for 802D2

I'm sure there wouldn't be a huge difference, but it just makes common sense to stay with the same series.

There were some significant changes made on the Diamond tweeter motor as well as the tweeter crossover between the "D" generation and the "Diamond D2" generation.
