Need advice, on a preamp for a Denon DL-130R

Hello, I have just made a major purchase (that I can't afford) of a VPI Classic 2, in addition I have purchased a Denon DL-103R to go with my new table (hope this was a good choice). My question is fairly simple, I am looking for a good preamp for this cartridge that will not break the bank any further. I have read it can be difficult to power. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Here's a no-brainer: The Ray Samuels F117 Nighthawk. Sounds wonderful and is quiet as a mouse even with low output MC cartridges like yours.
Not sure what "break the bank" means to you, but I use a Musical Surroundings Nova Phonomena with my 103r. It has DIP switches for Capacitance, Resistance, and Gain that work well with the low output 103r. The Nova which runs on rechargeable batteries costs $1,000 new, can be found used in the $600 range.
I haven't heard other preamps with the 103r so I can't comment on comparisons.
