Sure, the Nova has two sets of analog pre-outs, one using DIN and the other, RCA connectors. The Nova then can be used as source and preamplifier.
The Nova in and of itself, has a pretty good amplifier section, so I guess it really depends on what you need or are looking to drive with the Nova, and what amplifiers you may be seeking out.
