NAD M51 -- Used as a preamp

I'm thinking of swapping out my integrated amp for bridged mono amps, and was wondering if folks had experiences using the NAD M51 DAC as a preamp. Right now, I use it solely as a DAC. (It's a terrific one, by the way.)

I used my NAD M51 as a preamp and it was very good. But I have since upgraded to the PS Audio DS DirectStream DAC that outclasses the NAD M51. If you are in the market for a change I would suggest you think about picking up a DS DAC on the after market. You will not regret the change.
