Doubtful there would be monumental differences between the players on their own...as I have heard both in various systems...however the Nad would offer superior synergy in a Nad sytem and I believe the remote from your amp controls other Nad products...which is a bonus...hope this helps...if sound quality is #1 concern here are 2 used options at the $500 level:
