NAD C390DD integrated vs NAD M12/M22 combo

Did anybody have a chance to compare? I currently own C390DD driving PSB Synchrony Ones. The result is very satisfying in terms of the power and dynamics. However, some audiophile refinement is missing in the sound. I'm wondering if the M12/M22 combo sounds really better and not just louder.

Sorry I can't really answer your question but I have a NAD M2 and I had PSB Synchrony Ones for a week and this was the most horrible sounding pairing I ever had the displeasure of hearing. The PSB are great speakers and the M2 isn't a bad amp but synergy just wasn't there.

The question is how close is the M2 to M12/M22 combo?
