My testing confirms 16/88 is the best sounding sample rate

Sam here and i just made a new discovery 16/88 is superior to any other sample rate as far as sound quality goes.l won't upload audio samples however you can easily run your own re-encode and prove me right. This will be my new format of choice.ls it a coincidence that the best sounding format is the one that is not offered as a hi-res choice? or or they trying to hide something from our ears.

I like to jump way past any discussion of findings straight into conspiracy theories.  It saves me a lot of time when I already know where I'm going to end up.  Kudos, Sam.
Honestly...why would you think they ( whoever"they" are?) are trying to hide something from your ears?
They do it all the time. Never trust they. They are out to get you. In fact they got you but you don't even know it yet.

Tbh I don't think I have ever heard a 16/88 recording?
24/88 yes
16/88 no

So as to the truth of the statement I cannot comment.
Could well be true.
Might not.
Slow down, my friend.  With this kind of discovery/breakthrough every couple of days, you're going to exhaust yourself.
Try to upsample PCM to DSD (256/512, whichever your DAC supports) and play through your DAC. Then compare it with your 16/88. Let us know how that goes.
Listen to a Marantz SA-10.

DSD is at the heart of the way the SA-10 handles digital audio: PCM and DXD inputs are all upconverted to DSD at 11.2MHz using the proprietary MMM-Stream converter within the player, and then the high-frequency signal produced is processed by the unique MMM-Conversion stage, used in place of a conventional DAC, to produce the analogue output.
Coincidentally 16/88 also happens to be the perfect ratio in terms of the size of your ears compared to the length of your hair.  I think you're on to something.
