My first streamer- what spidf cable to use?

I finally have decided it was time to move to a streamer, thus I bought a Bluesound Node; if nothing else, it’s a starter streamer, and not a bad place to start. I’m not using the Node’s  internal DAC, preferring to route the digital output to my Bricasti M1. The streamer and DAC are connected via a modest and eminently listenable Blue Jeans cable however I wouldn’t mind extracting more juice from the Node, if that’s possible, while keeping in mind I’m not going to spends $550 for a cable for a $550 streamer. Also, if and when Bluesound roles out the promised USB output capability in the node, I’m going to hook up my AQ Coffee USB cable. Years ago I had a green hornet spidf cable which would have been a good choice here, if I still had it, but that’s long sold as I don’t keep gear I no longer use.
What’s a good compromise for the here and now? Perhaps it is the Blue Jeans cable!

I prefer my Apogee Wyde Eye to my Stereovox XV2.  The XV2 is a bit too hyper detailed while the Apogee has all the detail but with a smoother and more natural sound.  And a 1.5m length will only set you back 55 bucks...

I use a SPDIF cable from Audio Advisor, their house brand Pangea.  It cost about $30 and when I compared it to an older Audioquest cable that was more than $100 I couldn’t perceive enough of a difference to fret over.
@zavato,

Digital cables do sound different. You have a very nice DAC, feeding it with a high quality SPDIF cable will far outweighs the cost of your Node. A cheap cable in this application will only render thin and dull sound.
