My cartridge has more distortion

I compared my Benz L2 cartridge to my CD player and there appears to be more distortion now. My cart is 2.5 years old.

Something has changed in the setup ( maybe a loose tonearm weight??) that is giving you this poor sound. Start from scratch and remount the cartridge like it was new and I bet the problem resolves itself. Enjoy!
