Musical Fidelity M6i with Sonus Faber?

What do you folks think of the Musical Fidelity M6i integrated amp to be used with a pair of Sonus Faber Toy Towers?
I am currently using a Marantz SR-5005 receiver with the Toy Towers, with surprisingly decent results. However, I'm seriously considering the M6i for 2-channel only sessions, to be used in conjunction with the Marantz. Since the M6i includes a "home-theater pass through" input, I could be able to completely bypass the Marantz for 2 channel listening, and use the M6i essentially as a power amp to drive my front speakers during a 5.1 set-up.
I listen mostly to classical, soundtracks, a little bit of jazz, and some heavy metal. Any thoughts? Will I notice a difference between the Marantz and the MF?
