I have spent little time with the KW DM combination transport and dac. The system was as follows DM 25 Transport and Dac KW tube preamp and KW 750 amp, Sonus Faber Homage Amati Audio Quest speaker cables IC's ? power cords Shunyata (SP) room designed by Reves. I found this system to be a shy on the bright side but other than that it was an execelent combination.
Go out and give the DAC a listen and see take your transport with you and see if it fits your needs.
