Montana DPS?

I just heard these speakers for the first time & must admit I was extremely pleased with them. I listen to rock & was surprised how much air the little woofers could push. The imaging was spot on & exactly what I have been looking for. I have a set of B&W Matrix's to audition yet but overall these little guys blew my Vandersteens out of the water. I'm surprised I don't hear more about this brand but I do know why I don't see more of them for sale! I'm still a little concerned about how these tiny woofers will hold up being played at high vollumes with bass heavy music, I guess if I hadn't seen them with the grills off I might feel a little better ;)

I think with a nice sub these could be a winner. I will have to go back & hear them again but it's looking real good. I saw a set of the SP2's for sale at another retailer but they will not ship & I don't have the time to take a six hour (eachway) roadtrip. I'm sure they would be worth it though if they sound anything like the DPS.
I have a pair of SP2 Signatures which are a little larger. Yes, the Montanas are great speakers and do justice to any type of music. I haven't heard the DPS, but if they are anything like mine, I can understand why they wipe the floor with Vandersteens. Not even in the same league.

Good luck, I think you will be happy with them.
