I've just realized recently that the DIP works with DVD and Cable TV signals. It added a lot to my Pioneer DV-47 (which is probably not much compared to the Lexicon), but It improved my setup dramatically for movies. The usual improvements that applied to CD's did so with DVD's as well- more musical, longer note decays, etc. The improvement on Cable TV was less, but still noticeable on my Linn 5103 processor.
