ModWright SWL 9.0 SE vs Supratek Syrah Chenin

Anyone compared the linestages of these two preamps? I have heard wonderful things about both of them. The Supratek (name changed from Syrah to Chenin recently) seems to be the better value as you get both a linestage and a phono stage for about the same price as the Modwright linestage, but I'm wondering how the sound compares. I'd expect the Supratek to be more liquid and the Modwright to be more analytical - true?
