Congratulations, Jsujo. These all look very fine. The Frank Bridge String Quartets with the Allegri are particularly nice.
.
A fine recording of Delius. Beecham does a splendid job considering how easy it is to let Delius become shmaltz. Nice haul, just let me know when you have finished with them.
The DG, given its age, is pretty quiet....99% of all DGG's I have are pretty quiet...all tulip variety.
Reflects earlier pressings: the design of the band around the outer edge of the label is made from tulips. Later pressings had a plain line on the outer edge.
I recently discovered Delius' 4 violin sonatas, played by Tasmin Little. Highly recommended. It's on Conifer Classics.
