Mitsubishi DP-EC2 Turntable and Arm.

I'm looking for someone who can repair my DP-EC2 Integrated Logic Control Turntable. The automatic tonearm does not function as it should. My local repairman has indicated that the tonearm position photocell sensor is not reading. Are parts still available for this unit? I have been advised to replace it, but it is a nice solid, quiet, direct drive TT, and I would like to see it working properly again.
