The Turntable Basics version will ultimately cost you $20 more than the MintLP version, because 5 minutes after receiving the Turntable Basics version you'll throw it out and order a MintLP protractor.LOL! So true...
I actually have two TTB protractors (one bought, one supplied with my TriPlanar). I keep them for one reason, to sandwich around my Mint to protect it when it's sitting in the drawer.
