Have you had a chance to hear these amps with the Maggies. I am afraid that will be the only way to make a truly same decision.
MG 1.6 amp - HEGEL or NCORE ?
What would you recommend for Magnepan / Magneplanar / Maggies ?
NCORE is reported to be more transparent
HEGEL delivers more current, but is warmer and veiled.
If the HEGEL brings more image density / palpability / instruments in the room effect / analouge reality then it would be okay for me. Otherwise i would go with the NCORE.
Any experience with biamping 1.6 ?
