Not an SACD, but an excellent recording and performance - Stephen Hough on Hyperion. Volume 17 of "The Romantic Piano Concerto". Also includes No 2, and three other pieces. This is an excellent series of lesser known piano concertos for anyone curious. I've gotten most of them and there have only been a couple of personal disappointments in the bunch even though I've more often than not never heard of the composers.
Mendelssohn Piano Concerto
Anyone know of a good cd/sacd recording of Mendelssohn Piano Concerto No.1 in G minor. I have Lang Lang's cd which is so so and Murray Perahia which is quite terrible ( in terms of recording ).
