Mcintosh MDA 1000,$8,000 D/A anybody hear it ??

Just wondering anybody heard this $8,000 machine, any thoughts ??

It was setting up as MC 501 and C42, and using B&W 800. The sound was extremely superb, that our heart almost fell off. I dream to have to one but price is too much!
