McIntosh MC2125 and C27

A friend "wants" me to buy his MC2125 and C27. They have been meticulously cared for (rust free, only minor scratches, no fogging in meters) and he has been the only owner. Though the sound is excellent now, it is their age that concerns me. I know McIntosh is built like a tank and reliable, but do you see them still sounding good in another 10 years, since I am not one to change equipment very often. Thanks for any advice.

Do it. I have had two 2105s, and they're not very pricey to have serviced. And it should sound great.
