oh nevermind, it was one of the vintage tube that has dirty butt and reflects darker yellow or amber color. When I roll the tube the color changed.
Mcintosh C2700 warmup light
Hi all,I have just upgraded from C2600 to C2700 and notice the ambient light on the output tube has different color compares to all previous C2xxx preamp. When it is warming up, the output tub light is amber instead of yellow. But when it’s warmed up, all are green and looks fine.
My question to all C2700 owners, is yours show amber on the "output tube" when warming up? (the first one on the right hand side)
