Mbl 5011.is your best bet .detailed great imagery, great bottom End ,very very transparent , I owned the, ar , as well as cj art , and hovland 200 . The mbl sound is goosebumps

I know that there is an old thread here about the same two preamps. But I have a different reason for asking about them.
I have an ML 334 amp and Prodigy speakers and I need a good preamp.
Both of these preamps are for sale here, right now and are in a price range that I can drop for immediately (under $6K).
Will either of these two preamps match with my system and if so, which would be the better match?
(I was looking at a VTL 6.5 elsewhere, because I read a review of the 6.5 paired with my amp. But the seller seems a bit dodgy).
I don't know if this is relevant, but I listen to CD's and LP's and my tastes are for classical, jazz, blues and some rock n roll.
