The ASR has a maximum gain of 70db...more than enough on my low output 0.3mv Miyabi 47 cart.
Maximum gain of the ASR Basis Exclusive?
How much gain is available from ASR Basis Exclusive phono preamp? The lowest output MC cartridges require 70-72 db of gain. Is the ASR Basis Exclusive capable of that? I cannot tell by reading the on-line specs. The specs seem to suggest 32 db of gain, which would exclude most low output MC cartridges. This hardly seems possible for such a highly regarded phono stage.
