Masters & Dynamic MW40 - Dull as dirt to me

Hi gang,

Just bought a pair of MW40's and I'm really having a tough time with most of the online reviews.

Compared to my AKGs, Shure IEMs and speakers they sound dull as dirt.

Has anyone else heard them and can confirm, or did I get a bad pair?

I did read a suggestion to add stuffing to the headphones. Apparently they are empty plastic shells, so we'll see what happens with some cotton balls.

No break in time at all.

No, the pillows got moved to my other set of headphones.

Did you place pillows on the floor, maybe that would help?

have you given them enough break in time?
