Martin Logan Prodigy versus the Odyssey

Has anyone had the chance to compare the Prodigy versus the Odyssey? Would the Odyssey and the Descent be as good as the Prodigy for less money. Is hard to find A dealer to do the comparision local. Whould have to drive 700 miles to find one. Thanks for your input and opinions Tom

I own a pair of prodigy speakers. They were broken in when i purchased them as demo units. Remember it takes 30 to 60 hours to break these beauties in. I have not heard the Odyssey's but agree the Prodigy speakers sound better when turned up. My room is 19 by 19 and I am happy I made the plunge. I understand from the ML they have increased the prices on these units to 15,000 pr.
Shouldn't that be "Ascent"? Sorry I can't be of actual help here, but I am curious, where in this country can someone live whose closest M-L dealer is 700 miles away? The company ought to attend to that situation...
I own the Odysseys and auditioned the Prodigy at the same time - my room is 20 by 22 and the Odysseys sound great in it. The Prodigy may fare better with a larger room - for the money the Odysseys are hard to beat. The Odysseys sounded more natural at different volume levels than the Prodigy which did shine better at crank level. Both great ! Spend the money or buy the Odyssey and some music.
