I'm sure she didn't expect history to repeat when she recorded that song in 1997, but it did. While history never repeats precisely, it's close enough. Marcia's music mixes New Orleans R&B plus swamp blues into her own special "Louisiana Gumbo". When you hear her music you wanna go crawfishin, she celebrates everything that's Louisiana.
At this time, my heart goes out to all of the tragedy ridden people of Louisiana.
