Marantz SA-KI Pearl DAC Mode for Arcam MCD 6

I just tried to use my SA-KI as a D/A converter for my Arcam MCD 6 CD Changer. The latter outputs it digital signal via an S/PDIF (RCA) 75 ohm, so I bought Digital Audio Coaxial SPDIF Coax to Toslink Optical Digital Converter & cable to connect to the Pearl. When I tried to operate the Arcam via the Pearl, the latter's LED display showed the message, "D In:Unlock". The Pearl Owner's manual says this is due to "excessive jitter". Are there any other solutions to play the Arcam via the Pearl?

Yes, use re-clocking device.. there were many of these with different inputs (you need RCA) and different outputs (You need TOSLINK). I cannot remember names, sorry
