Magnepan warm-up?

Listening tonight and the LRS are singing.  It took at least an hour to get there though.  Definition and soundstage opens up really nicely.  I would say even increased tone and richness.  This isn't the first time I've noticed this.   Of course it could be the amp - Hegel H360 integrated left on 24/7.  Rega Planet CD player?  Or, it could be my ears!   I just wonder if the ribbons need to be juiced up a for a little while to sound their best.  Any Maggie owners hear the same thing?

That’s just true with all Maggie’s… the Mylar diaphragm just needs to warm up a bit to relax and not sound tight. The bigger Pans take even more time. If your not leaving your equipment on full time, part of it is your amp warming up too.
Give your CDP about four or five hours, to warm up before your next listening session.     Sans CD, of course.

I'll bet that makes a big difference.    It's been my experience; digital stuff takes the longest.

Still: the Maggie diaphragms need to limber up.   Especially, if you've running your AC.
Maggies seem to just get better and better the longer you own them. Wendell says it's time and heat cycles, not playing time.
