The Soundstage rave review used the Purifi which maybe not warm. The Copeland in this review seems to have a tube in the preamp. My new gear is not warm. This review covers on issue I had with the A3. I thought it was not as cohesive sounding as 2 other floor standers I demoed. This reviewer says the A1 is very cohesive. I am going to demo the A1 before buy the floor stander I have my eyes on. Because they are ’two-way’, the A1s sound cohesive and intertwined even at a short hearing distance.
