Zen, again if you are referring to written history then I suggest you are limiting your perception. Do you really think basic observable aspects of our existence were only discovered because we knew how to write them down? For the record Geoff, I rely on feedback from the general population in regards to the performance of the audio products I make decisions on. I have never read or owned an audio mag. Not sure what you mean by Peer Review/ validation process but if you consider sane common sensical opinions on the so-called tweaks your peddling to be a conservative choke-hold on the progress and betterment of our hobby, then I suppose we're in for some really fabulous technological breakthroughs thanks to MD in about fifty years. Imagine taking the lid off your hi-end amp and finding nothing but a box full of rocks. Amazing! Or maybe a tiny orchestra of bumble-bees humming out a tune. I can just see it now; Bedrock will by then be a veritable metropolis with all the advancements you could expect from a burgeoning little stone-age town. Fred and Barney busting with pride.
